Principle 1: Plan Ahead & Prepare

Checking trail conditions, weather, etc, and preparing or adjusting performance and tech needs in accordance with what nature has planned.


Principle 2: Travel & Camp on Durable Surfaces

Stick to trails and durable ground so plants and soil are not damaged.


Pack it in, pack it out.

Principle 3: Dispose of Waste Properly

Keep fires small and contained.


Watch from a distance and never feed wild animals.


Principle 7: Be Considerate of Others

Yield to others on the trail, leave room for everyone to enjoy the outdoors, and keep sound in accordance with the space and proximity to others.
